What SigPhi is

SigPhi is a philosophy artificial intelligence that answers only from original philosophical and religious texts in the public domain. It gives no opinions or advice: it shows you what the works say, and where they say it.

Where the texts come from

The corpus gathers public-domain editions from Project Gutenberg, Wikisource and the Internet Archive, across dozens of traditions: Greek and modern philosophy, sacred texts, political and religious thought.

Why this is not just another chatbot

Every claim is linked to the exact passage that supports it, and you can read that passage in full in the Library. If the corpus does not cover a question, SigPhi says so instead of making something up.
