Privacy and data protection

SigPhi follows data minimisation: it collects only what is needed to answer and keep the service secure.

What we do not collect

There are no user accounts, advertising, or tracking analytics. SigPhi does not store the text of questions or answers, and does not link telemetry to an IP address or person. The only local preference is the light or dark theme stored in your browser.

Chat processing

To generate an answer, the question and recent conversation context are sent to the Google Gemini API. Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information. Under the terms applicable in the European Economic Area, Google does not use paid-service content to improve its products, although it may retain it temporarily for up to 55 days to prevent abuse.

Metrics and retention

SigPhi keeps only aggregate technical metrics, such as latency, source counts, and whether an answer was found, for up to 30 days. Feedback stores only the positive or negative vote, without the question.

Reports and contact

When you voluntarily submit an issue report, its message, page, and language are stored. It is deleted when resolved and, in all cases, after 90 days. Never include keys, passwords, or sensitive data. You can use the same form to request information or deletion.
