Le edizioni sono due, del 1781 e del 1787, e non dicono esattamente la stessa cosa: Kant riscrisse la deduzione trascendentale e rifece la critica della psicologia razionale. Per questo si cita per pagina «A» e «B» secondo l'edizione, e le traduzioni serie riportano entrambe le numerazioni a margine. Una citazione della Critica senza A o B non si può verificare.
