2Cor 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself) I more; in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in deaths oft. 2Cor 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. 2Cor 11:25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day have I been in the deep; 2Cor 11:26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 2Cor 11:27 in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 2Cor 11:28 Besides those things that are without, there is that which presseth upon me daily, anxiety for all the churches. 2Cor 11:29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is caused to stumble, and I burn not? 2Cor 11:30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my weakness. 2Cor 11:31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed for evermore knoweth that I lie not.
2Cor 11:32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes in order to take me: 2Cor 11:33 and through a window was I let down in a basket by the wall, and escaped his hands. 2Cor 12:1 I must needs glory, though it is not expedient; but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2Cor 12:2 I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I know not; or whether out of the body, I know not; God knoweth), such a one caught up even to the third heaven. 2Cor 12:3 And I know such a man (whether in the body, or apart from the body, I know not; God knoweth), 2Cor 12:4 how that he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 2Cor 12:5 On behalf of such a one will I glory: but on mine own behalf I will not glory, save in my weaknesses. 2Cor 12:6 For if I should desire to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I shall speak the truth: but I forbear, lest any man should account of me above that which he seeth me to be, or heareth from me.
2Cor 12:7 And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch. 2Cor 12:8 Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 2Cor 12:9 And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2Cor 12:10 Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2Cor 12:11 I am become foolish: ye compelled me; for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I am nothing. 2Cor 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, by signs and wonders and mighty works. 2Cor 12:13 For what is there wherein ye were made inferior to the rest of the churches, except it be that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this wrong.
2Cor 12:14 Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be a burden to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 2Cor 12:15 And I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less? 2Cor 12:16 But be it so, I did not myself burden you; but, being crafty, I caught you with guile. 2Cor 12:17 Did I take advantage of you by any one of them whom I have sent unto you? 2Cor 12:18 I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps? 2Cor 12:19 Ye think all this time that we are excusing ourselves unto you. In the sight of God speak we in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying. 2Cor 12:20 For I fear, lest by any means, when I come, I should find you not such as I would, and should myself be found of you such as ye would not; lest by any means there should be strife, jealousy, wraths, factions, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults; 2Cor 12:21 lest again when I come my God should humble me before you, and I should mourn for many of them that have sinned heretofore, and repented not of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they committed. 2Cor 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word be established. 2Cor 13:2 I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, to them that have sinned heretofore, and to all the rest, that, if I come again, I will not spare; 2Cor 13:3 seeing that ye seek a proof of Christ that speaketh in me; who to you-ward is not weak, but is powerful in you: 2Cor 13:4 for he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him through the power of God toward you. 2Cor 13:5 Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate. 2Cor 13:6 But I hope that ye shall know that we are not reprobate.
2Cor 13:7 Now we pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that ye may do that which is honorable, though we be as reprobate. 2Cor 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 2Cor 13:9 For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting. 2Cor 13:10 For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not when present deal sharply, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for casting down. 2Cor 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2Cor 13:12 Salute one another with a holy kiss. 2Cor 13:13 All the saints salute you. 2Cor 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
Gal 1:1 Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead), Gal 1:2 and all the brethren that are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: Gal 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, Gal 1:4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father: Gal 1:5 to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel; Gal 1:7 which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema. Gal 1:9 As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema. Gal 1:10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? or am I striving to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ. Gal 1:11 For I make known to you, brethren, as touching the gospel which was preached by me, that it is not after man. Gal 1:12 For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
Gal 1:13 For ye have heard of my manner of life in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and made havoc of it: Gal 1:14 and I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of mine own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. Gal 1:15 But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, even from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace, Gal 1:16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood: Gal 1:17 neither went I up to Jerusalem to them that were apostles before me: but I went away into Arabia; and again I returned unto Damascus. Gal 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and tarried with him fifteen days. Gal 1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. Gal 1:20 Now touching the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. Gal 1:21 Then I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. Gal 1:22 And I was still unknown by face unto the churches of Judæa which were in Christ: Gal 1:23 but they only heard say, He that once persecuted us now preacheth the faith of which he once made havoc; Gal 1:24 and they glorified God in me. Gal 2:1 Then after the space of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me. Gal 2:2 And I went up by revelation; and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles but privately before them who were of repute, lest by any means I should be running, or had run, in vain. Gal 2:3 But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: Gal 2:4 and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: Gal 2:5 to whom we gave place in the way of subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Gal 2:6 But from those who were reputed to be somewhat (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth not man’s person)—they, I say, who were of repute imparted nothing to me: Gal 2:7 but contrariwise, when they saw that I had been intrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, even as Peter with the gospel of the circumcision Gal 2:8 (for he that wrought for Peter unto the apostleship of the circumcision wrought for me also unto the Gentiles); Gal 2:9 and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision; Gal 2:10 only they would that we should remember the poor; which very thing I was also zealous to do. Gal 2:11 But when Cephas came to Antioch, I resisted him to the face, because he stood condemned. Gal 2:12 For before that certain came from James, he ate with the Gentiles; but when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing them that were of the circumcision. Gal 2:13 And the rest of the Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation. Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Cephas before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest as do the Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, how compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? Gal 2:15 We being Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Gal 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 2:17 But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid. Gal 2:18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a transgressor. Gal 2:19 For I through the law died unto the law, that I might live unto God. Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. Gal 2:21 I do not make void the grace of God: for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nought. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified? Gal 3:2 This only would I learn from you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Gal 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now perfected in the flesh? Gal 3:4 Did ye suffer so many things in vain? if it be indeed in vain.
Gal 3:5 He therefore that supplieth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Gal 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness. Gal 3:7 Know therefore that they that are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham. Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all the nations be blessed. Gal 3:9 So then they that are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham. Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them. Gal 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith; Gal 3:12 and the law is not of faith; but, He that doeth them shall live in them. Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Gal 3:14 that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Gal 3:15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men: Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet when it hath been confirmed, no one maketh it void, or addeth thereto. Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Gal 3:17 Now this I say: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect. Gal 3:18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God hath granted it to Abraham by promise. Gal 3:19 What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise hath been made; and it was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator. Gal 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one; but God is one. Gal 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could make alive, verily righteousness would have been of the law.
Gal 3:22 But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Gal 3:24 So that the law is become our tutor to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Gal 3:25 But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a tutor. Gal 3:26 For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ. Gal 3:28 There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:29 And if ye are Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise. Gal 4:1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a bondservant though he is lord of all; Gal 4:2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed of the father. Gal 4:3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the rudiments of the world: Gal 4:4 but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, Gal 4:5 that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Gal 4:7 So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. Gal 4:8 Howbeit at that time, not knowing God, ye were in bondage to them that by nature are no gods: Gal 4:9 but now that ye have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how turn ye back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desire to be in bondage over again? Gal 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and seasons, and years. Gal 4:11 I am afraid of you, lest by any means I have bestowed labor upon you in vain. Gal 4:12 I beseech you, brethren, become as I am, for I also am become as ye are. Ye did me no wrong: Gal 4:13 but ye know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you the first time: Gal 4:14 and that which was a temptation to you in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but ye received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Gal 4:15 Where then is that gratulation of yourselves? for I bear you witness, that, if possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me. Gal 4:16 So then am I become your enemy, by telling you the truth? Gal 4:17 They zealously seek you in no good way; nay, they desire to shut you out, that ye may seek them. Gal 4:18 But it is good to be zealously sought in a good matter at all times, and not only when I am present with you. Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ be formed in you— Gal 4:20 but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone; for I am perplexed about you. Gal 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman. Gal 4:23 Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise. Gal 4:24 Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar. Gal 4:25 Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children.
Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother. Gal 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband. Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now. Gal 4:30 Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman. Gal 4:31 Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman. Gal 5:1 For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage. Gal 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that, if ye receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing. Gal 5:3 Yea, I testify again to every man that receiveth circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Gal 5:4 Ye are severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace. Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
Gal 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love. Gal 5:7 Ye were running well; who hindered you that ye should not obey the truth? Gal 5:8 This persuasion came not of him that calleth you. Gal 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Gal 5:10 I have confidence to you-ward in the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. Gal 5:11 But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then hath the stumbling-block of the cross been done away. Gal 5:12 I would that they that unsettle you would even go beyond circumcision. Gal 5:13 For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another. Gal 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Gal 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. Gal 5:16 But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would. Gal 5:18 But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, Gal 5:21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gal 5:23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law. Gal 5:24 And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof. Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk. Gal 5:26 Let us not become vainglorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
Gal 6:1 Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Gal 6:3 For if a man thinketh himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Gal 6:4 But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor. Gal 6:5 For each man shall bear his own burden. Gal 6:6 But let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Gal 6:8 For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal 6:10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith. Gal 6:11 See with how large letters I write unto you with mine own hand.
Gal 6:12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. Gal 6:13 For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. Gal 6:14 But far be it from me to glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world hath been crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Gal 6:15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Gal 6:16 And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace be upon them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Gal 6:17 Henceforth let no man trouble me; for I bear branded on my body the marks of Jesus. Gal 6:18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
Eph 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints that are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus: Eph 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: Eph 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: Eph 1:5 having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Eph 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved: Eph 1:7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Eph 1:8 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, Eph 1:9 making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him Eph 1:10 unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say, Eph 1:11 in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will; Eph 1:12 to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ: Eph 1:13 in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,—in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Eph 1:14 which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God’s own possession, unto the praise of his glory. Eph 1:15 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which ye show toward all the saints, Eph 1:16 cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; Eph 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; Eph 1:18 having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Eph 1:19 and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might Eph 1:20 which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, Eph 1:21 far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Eph 1:22 and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, Eph 1:23 which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Eph 2:1 And you did he make alive, when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins, Eph 2:2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience; Eph 2:3 among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:— Eph 2:4 but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Eph 2:5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved), Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus: Eph 2:7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus: Eph 2:8 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Eph 2:9 not of works, that no man should glory. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them. Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that once ye, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called Circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands; Eph 2:12 that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ. Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, Eph 2:15 having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace; Eph 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: Eph 2:17 and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh: Eph 2:18 for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father. Eph 2:19 So then ye are no more strangers and sojourners, but ye are fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, Eph 2:20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; Eph 2:21 in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord; Eph 2:22 in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit. Eph 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus in behalf of you Gentiles,— Eph 3:2 if so be that ye have heard of the dispensation of that grace of God which was given me to you-ward; Eph 3:3 how that by revelation was made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote before in few words, Eph 3:4 whereby, when ye read, ye can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ; Eph 3:5 which in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; Eph 3:6 to wit, that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, Eph 3:7 whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power. Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; Eph 3:9 and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things; Eph 3:10 to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, Eph 3:11 according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: Eph 3:12 in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Eph 3:13 Wherefore I ask that ye may not faint at my tribulations for you, which are your glory. Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, Eph 3:15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, Eph 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, Eph 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God. Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Eph 3:21 unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen. Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called, Eph 4:2 with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. Eph 4:7 But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men. Eph 4:9 (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
