السياق والتاريخ
طفل ينشأ وحده في جزيرة مقفرة فيبلغ بنفسه، بلا معلّم ولا لغة ولا وحي، الطبيعياتِ وما بعد الطبيعة ومعرفةَ الله. كُتبت في الأندلس في القرن الثاني عشر. وتُرجمت إلى اللاتينية سنة 1671، فقرأها لوك وقرأها ديفو: سلفُ «روبنسون كروزو»، وفي الوقت نفسه حجة في ما يستطيعه العقل وحده.
