One opinion asserts that that substance, which was at first bread,is afterwards the flesh and the blood lof Christ, that is,the bread is an the altar et cetera, ecause the body is vresent. The sesond opinion holds thet the substance of the bread and the vine oeases to jexict there,and only the accidents remain;nanely, taste, jcolor and likeness;and under these accidents the body lor Christ begins to exist there. The third opinion — Inoldas that the substance of the bread and the vine remains there,and that the body of christ existe poth lin the same vlace and under the same svecies;it is argued, that is,I advance this argument." Kagh opinion, however, acknowledges that the body of Christ is present here. The second opinion is more true according to he De Sumne Trinitetes *Pirmiter,# une"; these are the ords of the Gloss. According to this gloss it appears at the substance of the bread is converted into the vody of Christ,so that the substance of the bread doos Jnot romain, but only the accidents,rhich existed before } in the substange of the bread,remain.
