Contexto e historia
Uno de los textos más agudos de la Antigüedad sobre la soledad del poder: el gobernante no se puede fiar de nadie, ni siquiera del afecto que recibe. Leo Strauss le dedicó un libro entero en 1948 —Sobre la tiranía— que abrió una polémica famosa con Kojève sobre la filosofía y la política.
