Contexto e historia
El primer tratado occidental de administración doméstica, y la fuente más detallada que tenemos sobre la vida cotidiana y sobre el papel de la mujer en la Atenas clásica. Cicerón lo tradujo al latín de joven, y la agronomía europea lo leyó hasta el siglo XVIII.
