Contesto e storia
È la stessa opera che nel catalogo compare anche come The Voyage of the Beagle, e conviene dirlo perché non sembri che Darwin abbia scritto due libri. È il nome con cui uscì; quello di Voyage si impose più tardi. La prima edizione è del 1839, la seconda, del 1845, riscritta in punti importanti. Ogni citazione deve indicare l'edizione usata, perché le due non dicono la stessa cosa.
