Einer der wenigen langen gnostischen Texte, die vor den Funden von Nag Hammadi bekannt waren: der auferstandene Jesus unterrichtet die Jünger elf Jahre lang, und Maria Magdalena ist die, die die besten Fragen stellt. Auf Koptisch erhalten, in einer im 18. Jahrhundert in London gekauften Handschrift.

with his disciples, and instructing them only up hitherto to the regions of the First Commandment a-nd J^g*^^^*®*^^ up to the regions of the First Mystery, that within ^^ly up to ^ , , J J J ^ ^^Q regions the Veil, within the First Commandment, which of the First is the four-and-twentieth mystery without and ^^ ®^^* below — those [four-and-twenty] which are in the second space of the First Mystery which is before all mysteries, — the Father in the form of a dove.
