El título original del diario del Beagle: Journal of Researches into the Natural History and Geology of the Countries Visited during the Voyage.
Contexto e historia
Es la misma obra que en el catálogo aparece también como The Voyage of the Beagle, y conviene decirlo para que no parezca que Darwin escribió dos libros. Este es el nombre con que salió; el de Voyage se impuso más tarde. La primera edición es de 1839 y la segunda, de 1845, está reescrita en puntos importantes. Para citarlo hay que decir siempre qué edición se usa, porque no dicen lo mismo.
Contexto editorial, no una fuente citable: a diferencia de los pasajes de la obra, estos datos no se pueden comprobar contra el corpus.
