Contexto e historia
Es la primera traducción inglesa completa hecha por un comité de judíos para lectores judíos, y la diferencia que más se nota es el orden: el Tanaj va Torá, Neviim y Ketuvim, y no termina donde termina el Antiguo Testamento cristiano. Quien vaya buscando capítulos con la numeración de una Biblia cristiana encontrará desajustes, y no son errores sino dos tradiciones de división del texto.
Contexto editorial, no una fuente citable: a diferencia de los pasajes de la obra, estos datos no se pueden comprobar contra el corpus.
