Contexto e historia
El fondo es la forma: un diccionario se consulta en lugar de leerse seguido, cosa que lo hacía imposible de refutar en bloque y fácil de hacer circular a escondidas. Voltaire lo publicó anónimo en 1764 y lo quemaron en Ginebra y en París. Nota sobre la edición: el catálogo tiene DOS ediciones del Diccionario filosófico —esta en diez volúmenes y un Voltaire's Philosophical Dictionary en uno solo. No son un duplicado: son selecciones y traducciones distintas, y los artículos no se corresponden uno a uno. El original es francés.
